Some Velvet Morning

Two classes almost done, and five more to go.
So burnt out lately, I seriously need to just chill with friends and fam and RELAX.
My mind doesn't want to think any further about equations or thermodynamics.
I got Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra tunes on repeat and the coffees keep a'coming.

Till next time loves❤

What Brandy Wore: Dead or Alive

I guess I felt a lil' something like Billy The Kid on this day :)
Living and growing up in Texas, I am must admit I am a fan of some bohemian and southwest elements that fashion has to offer. Suede, turquoise, flowing dusters, cowboy hats. You know, the usual.
This look is another good mix of vintage and modern.
I try to achieve a balance between modern fashion and my love for vintage.
The vest and duster are both vintage, not very old vintage, but still technically ;)
Today was a very good day I thought, we had lunch with my mum and dad and then I took a short walk with my mum to show her about my new neighborhood.
I am incredibly close with my parents, we are best of friends as well as family, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
This was a pretty casual look I felt, and I really love dressing up, so I am already planning what I'll wear and looking forward to a few dates the hubs and I have planned for this week.
Yes I plan outfits, it makes me happy! :)
And I do think we should all do more of what makes us happy, even if its just tiny things that aren't considered important such as planning outfits, going out for coffee and treats, etc.

Outfit:
Coat: Vintage velvet duster (90s)
Vest: Vintage mens vest (70s)
Boots: Aldo (weisel, taupe)

What Brandy Wore:The Sailors say, "Brandy, You're a Fine Girl"

This is a flashback to our last visit to Boston Harbor.
Clearly I am missing enchanted New England.

Brandy at the Harbor, well, that brings to mind the song for which I am named.
Ever heard this song??
