What Brandy Wore: Believe in happy endings

An old tree and a good book, in my opinion, are absolutely invaluable.

I must admit when it comes to literature I am most assuredly a believer and seeker of happy endings.

I do favor fairy tales very much and tend to live a bit in a fairy tale.

It helps that I've been blessed with a husband that is a true Prince amongst men. No lie.

He takes such good care of me and often spoils me a bit too much.

 The weather has been up and down in Houston lately. It irks me that we can't just have regular seasons here. 

Oh well, trying to make the most of it, but it's tough for planning outfits.

Feeling a bit under the weather lately, trying to take vitamins and eat healthy, hopefully that will help matters.

Maintaining a peaceful mindset is important to health & happiness, so I've been working on -when am I not-keeping a positive attitude and resisting my tendencies to be a worrier :-/

I'll let you know how that goes.
About this look, I love how it made me feel like I was from a Dickens novel, or that 80's film Young Sherlock Holmes. I have long been a vest person, since I was a wee lass tbh.
The hat was purchased at a TJMaxx a couple years ago, it was just too cute and old England-like to pass up.
Interesting tidbit, this vest is 70s classic menswear, and belonged to my father. I snagged it from a few years ago ;)
These lace up boots are old, peeling and oh-so comfy. I don't know the brand that's how old they are and I am perpetually in search of another pair just like them.
