What Brandy Wore: The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Brandy Runae

It's turned colder around here, I sure don't mind. I am able to wear boots and coats without looking terribly out of place.

We don't get much cold in Houston, when we do, I myself revel in it.

This look, as I have recently been told, is known as Gavroche in Francais. It derived from a character in Les Miserables. I thought that was really cool.

Ever since I was a kid I have been a vest and hat person. After discovering vintage vogue I became enamored with menswear inspired looks that were prevalent in the 70s. Guess the rest is history, as they say, because the look stuck and has become my one of my favorites.
